Pharmacological chromatin remodeling enhances response to estrogen therapy in ER+ breast cancer
Estrogen therapy elicits clinical benefit in ~ 30% of patients with endocrine‐resistant estrogen receptor (ER)‐positive breast cancer. Based on findings that ER transcriptional activation underlies response to estrogen therapy, we tested the effects of epigenetic dysregulation via pharmacological inhibition of histone deacetylases (HDACi).

Time‐restricted feeding (TRF) in mice increased liver fatty acid oxidation and decreased fatty acid biosynthesis. These alterations persisted when TRF was discontinued and the host was infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Pre‐exposure to TRF did not alter tissue (lung and spleen) mycobacterial burden but significantly reduced CD3+ T cells in lungs

Loss of AMBRA1 activates MAPK and angiogenesis signaling pathways in melanoma cells
Loss of AMBRA1 in melanoma cells activates multiple oncogenic pathways associated with tumor progression. Transcriptomic and protein network analyses revealed that AMBRA1 depletion enhances MAPK/ERK signaling, angiogenesis, TGF‐β/EMT signaling, and Wnt/axon guidance pathways.

Characteristic Polynomial and Eigenproblem of Triangular Matrix over Interval Min-Plus Algebra
A min-plus algebra is a linear algebra over the semiring R_ε', equipped with the operations “"⊕'=min" ” and “⊗=+”. In min-plus algebra, there is the concept of characteristic polynomial obtained from permanent of matrix.

The presence of biotin‐binding avidin proteins in fish and their biological significance are poorly characterized. We cataloged fish avidins and demonstrate that they are widely present and evolutionarily conserved. We created avd knockout zebrafish and show that zebavidin is dispensable for development and that resistance of avd knockout embryos in ...

An Inverse Spectral Problem for the Matrix Sturm-Liouville Operator with a Bessel-Type Singularity
The inverse problem by the Weyl matrix is studied for the matrix Sturm-Liouville equation on a finite interval with a Bessel-type singularity in the end of the interval.

Incidence matrix and cover matrix of nested interval orders
For any poset P , its incidence matrix n and its cover matrix C are the P × P (0, 1) matrices such that n(x, y) = 1 if any only if x is less than y in P and C(x, y) = 1 if any only if x is covered by y in P. It is shown that n and C are conjugate to each other in the incidence algebra of P over a field of characteristic 0 provided P is the nested ...

ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Multiple sclerosis (MS) exhibits racially disparate rates of disease progression. Black people with MS (B‐PwMS) experience a more severe disease course than non‐Hispanic White people with MS (NHW‐PwMS). Here we investigated structural and functional connectivity as well as structure–function decoupling in the ...

Interval State Estimation of Electricity-Gas Systems Considering Measurement Correlations
The popularization of electricity-gas systems leads to increasing demand for state management of systems. However, the existence of neglected measurement correlations brings uncertainties to the electricity-gas systems state estimation. In this paper, an

Interval-valued Fuzzy Matrices with Interval-valued Fuzzy Rows and Columns
Fuzzy matrix (FM) is a very important topic of fuzzy algebra. In FM, the elements belong to the unit interval [0,1]. When the elements of FM are the subintervals of the unit interval [0,1], then the FM is known as interval-valued fuzzy matrix (IVFM).
