Intraductal Papillary Neoplasms of the Bile Duct
Intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile duct (IPNB) is a rare variant of bile duct tumors characterized by papillary growth within the bile duct lumen and is regarded as a biliary counterpart of intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm of the pancreas.

Intraductal Oncocytic Papillary Neoplasms [PDF]
Background: Intraductal oncocytic papillary neoplasm (IOPN) of the pancreas is a rare tumor. Recent molecular data indicate that it is distinct from other intraductal neoplasms; however, its clinicopathologic characteristics, especially the frequency/significance of an invasive carcinoma component, and biologic behavior remain ...

Background Because intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm of the bile duct (IPMN-B) is believed to show a better clinical course than non-papillary biliary neoplasms, it is important to make a precise diagnosis and to perform complete surgical resection.

RNF43 Mutations in IPMN Cases: A Potential Prognostic Factor
An intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (IPMN) is a common pancreatic precursor lesion, and it often harbors mutations in KRAS, GNAS, and RNF43. To clarify the molecular profiles of IPMNs, we conducted mutation analysis of KRAS, GNAS, and RNF43 in 61 ...

ABSTRACT Background Pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is characterized by its poor prognosis. Cytology is essential for diagnostic confirmation and ancillary studies. The endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) set a precedent, facilitating cytological sampling through fine‐needle aspiration (FNA), with a sensitivity of 93% and a specificity of 95%.

Artificial intelligence in genitourinary pathology
Artificial intelligence (AI) is now practical in genitourinary pathology. We synthesize evidence and economics into a two‐part playbook: VALIDATED (governance) and ORCHESTRATE (operations), to safely deploy AI tools across prostate, bladder, kidney and testis.

Intraductal oncocytic papillary neoplasm of the pancreas: a radio-pathological case study
Context An intraductal oncocytic papillary neoplasm is a rare pancreatic tumor with the potential of developing invasive carcinoma. Its differentiation from other cystic-like neoplasms of the pancreas, such as intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms, is a challenge for pancreatic imaging.

Hidradenoma (HA) is a rare, benign adnexal tumor typically arising in the skin, with only a few reported cases in the breast. Histologically, HA displays solid and cystic patterns with diverse cellular components. Although MAML2 gene rearrangement is observed in some cutaneous HAs, its significance in breast HA remains unclear.

ABSTRACT Cystic IPNB is a rare liver disease with a high risk of malignant transformation (64%–89%) and poses diagnostic challenges. We describe a case of a 74‐year‐old woman with a large bilobar mucinous cyst in the left liver lobe associated with its atrophy managed with left hepatectomy.
