AbstractCarbon‐13 direct‐detection NMR methods have proved to be very useful for the characterization of intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs). Here we present a suite of experiments in which amino‐acid‐selective editing blocks are encoded in CACON‐ and CANCO‐type sequences to give 13C‐detected spectra containing correlations arising from a ...

Intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) are functional proteins containing large fragments characterized by high local mobility. Bioinformatic studies have suggested that a significant fraction (more than 30%) of eukaryotic proteins has disordered regions of more than 50 amino acids in length.

IDP-T5CKNN: Protein Language Models for Prediction of Intrinsically Disordered Proteins
Current Computer ScienceIntroduction: Disordered proteins (IDPs) and disordered protein regions (IDRs) have important roles in cellular signalling and regulation and in disease development. However, their flexible conformations create challenges in annotating them through computational methods.
