IR 780-loaded hyaluronic acid micelles for enhanced tumor-targeted photothermal therapy

Carbohydrate Polymers, 2018
In this study, we propose using IR 780-loaded, CD44-targeted hyaluronic acid-based micelles (HA-IR 780) for enhanced photothermal therapy (PTT) effects in tumors. Two kinds of HA-C18 micelles were synthesized from different C18 feed ratios with degree of substitution of 3% and 13% respectively.

Mechanistic study of IR-780 dye as a potential tumor targeting and drug delivery agent

Biomaterials, 2014
IR-780 iodide, a near-infrared fluorescent heptamethine dye, has been recently characterized to exhibit preferential accumulation property in the mitochondria of tumor cells. In this study, we investigated the possible mechanisms for its tumor selective activity and its potential as a drug delivery carrier.

IR-780 dye loaded tumor targeting theranostic nanoparticles for NIR imaging and photothermal therapy

Biomaterials, 2013
IR-780 iodide is a near-infrared (NIR) fluorescence dye with higher and more stable fluorescence intensity than clinically applied dye indocyanine green (ICG). Meanwhile, IR-780 can be utilized in photothermal therapy with laser irradiation. IR-780 is an important theranostic agent but its lipophilicity limited its application.

FRET in a Polymeric Nanocarrier: IR-780 and IR-780-PDMS

Biomacromolecules, 2019
We introduce a method to monitor the integrity of micellar nanocarriers using a novel fluorescent dye, IR-780-PDMS and Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) as a readout. In addition, these dye-loaded nanocarriers can be used as a phototoxic agent in vitro. Mainly, a nanocarrier was designed, based on a previously described amphiphilic ABA-copolymer

An Opto‐ and Thermal‐Rewrite PCM/CNF‐IR 780 Energy Storage Nanopaper with Mechanical Regulated Performance

Small, 2022
AbstractIn spite of efforts to fabricate self‐assembled energy storage nanopaper with potential applications in displays, greenhouses, and sensors, few studies have investigated their multiple stimuli‐sensitivities. Here, an opto‐ and thermal‐rewrite phase change material/cellulose nanofibril (PCM/CNF) energy storage nanopaper with mechanical regulated

Improved Photodynamic Therapy Based on Glutaminase Blockage via Tumor Membrane Coated CB‐839/IR‐780 Nanoparticles

Small, 2023
AbstractPhotodynamic therapy (PDT) has promising applications. However, the lethal function of reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced during PDT is typically limited. This restriction is induced by oxygen shortage in the tumor microenvironment due to tumor cell hypermetabolism and reductive chemicals overexpression in tumor tissues.

IR-780 Loaded Phospholipid Mimicking Homopolymeric Micelles for Near-IR Imaging and Photothermal Therapy of Pancreatic Cancer

ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, 2016
IR-780 iodide, a near-infrared (near-IR) fluorescent dye, can be utilized as an effective theranostic agent for both imaging and photothermal therapy. However, its lipophilicity limits its further biomedical applications. Herein, we synthesized a phospholipid mimicking amphiphilic homopolymer poly(12-(methacryloyloxy)dodecyl phosphorylcholine) (PMDPC ...

Hydrophobic IR-780 Dye Encapsulated in cRGD-Conjugated Solid Lipid Nanoparticles for NIR Imaging-Guided Photothermal Therapy

ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, 2017
This is high demand to enhance the accumulation of near-infrared theranostic agents in the tumor region, which is favorable to the effective phototherapy. Compared with indocyanine green (a clinically applied dye), IR-780 iodide possesses higher and more stable fluorescence intensity and can be utilized as an imaging-guided PTT agent with laser ...

Effects of Human Serum Albumin on the Fluorescence Intensity and Tumor Imaging Properties of IR‐780 Dye

Photochemistry and Photobiology, 2021
AbstractIR‐780 is a lipophilic dye with excellent optical and tumor imaging properties for early tumor diagnostics. Although the mechanism of tumor targeting has not been fully identified, the view that serum albumin plays an important role in tumor accumulation has been recognized.

Cyanine IR-780 for distinguishing 2-amino thiophenols from position isomers

Dyes and Pigments, 2016
Abstract Developing highly selective fluorescent probes for the determination of thiophenol is very significant due to its toxicity influence in biological system. In this work, we firstly found that the commercial available cyanine dye 3H-Indolium, 2-(2-(2-chloro-3-(2-(1,3-dihydro-3,3-dimethyl-1-propyl-2H-indol-2-ylidene)ethylidene)-1-cyclohexen-1 ...
