ChemInform Abstract: REACTIONS OF ISOCYANIDES WITH ALKYLPENTACARBONYLMANGANESE

Additions of isocyanides to aziridines
Journal of the Chemical Society, Chemical Communications, 1975AbstractDie Aziridine (I) und (IV) bilden mit tert.‐Butylisocyanid (II) die Aminoketenimine (III), von denen (IIIa) zum Carbonsäureamid (V) hydrolysiert wird.

Homoleptic Isocyanide Metalates
Angewandte Chemie International Edition, 1998Novelties and surprises in the chemistry of metal isocyanides: The synthesis and structure determination of homoleptic isocyanide metalates [M(CNXyl)m ]- (M=Co, m=4; M=Mn, m=5; Xyl=2,6-Me2 C6 H3 ) indicate that we need to revise our understanding of transition metal-isocyanide interactions.

2D Rhodium‐Isocyanide Frameworks
Advanced MaterialsAbstract2D metal‐organic frameworks (2D MOFs) are emerging organic van der Waals materials with great potential in various applications owing to their structural diversity, and tunable optoelectronic properties. So far, most reported 2D MOFs rely on metal‐heteroatom coordination (e.g., metal–nitrogen, metal–oxygen, and metal–sulfur); synthesis of metal‐

Synthesis of Polymers of Isocyanides [PDF]
In 1868 two articles appeared in Annalen der Chemie und Pharmacie on “a new series of homologues of hydrogen cyanide.” In the first article A. W. Hofmann(1) reported on an extension of his earlier work(2) in which he described the formation of isomers of nitriles in a reaction between a primary amine, chloroform, and alcoholic potassium hydroxide.
