Four-Component Reactions for the Synthesis of Perfluoroalkyl Isoxazoles
ACS Catalysis, 2019A four-component strategy for the synthesis of the isoxazole skeleton is developed. The approach achieves the synthesis of perfluoroalkyl isoxazoles by using simple perfluoroalkyl reagents.

Isoxazoles I: Protonation of Isoxazole Derivatives in Aqueous Sulfuric Acid
Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1973The protonation of 3-amino-5-methylisoxazole, 5-amino-3,4-dimethylisoxazole, sulfamethoxazole (N-sulfanilamido-5-methyl-3-isoxazole), and sulfisoxazole (N-sulfanilamido-3,4-dimethyl-5-isoxazole) in aqueous sulfuric acid was studied. The pKSH+ and log SH+/S or log SH2+2/SH+ values were determined by UV spectrophotometry.

The first synthesis of isoxazole-4-carboxylic acid derivatives by domino isoxazole-isoxazole isomerization is reported.
