Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Age-dependent alterations in spermatogenesis in itchy mice [PDF]
textSpermatogenesis is an intricate process that strongly depends on the rapid turnover of short-lived proteins, both in the differentiating germ cells and in the supportive Sertoli cells.

Opposing effects of cervical spinal cold block on spinal itch and pain transmission
Inactivation of descending pathways enhanced responses of spinal dorsal horn neurons to noxious stimuli, but little is known regarding tonic descending modulation of spinal itch transmission. To study effects of cervical spinal cold block on responses of

The proposed mechanism of action for the CDK12/13 inhibitor and cyclin K degrader, CT7439. CDK12/13 inhibition interrupts transcription elongation, leading to increased DNA damage that results in cell death. This agent is a potentially novel treatment option for patients with colorectal cancer. Created in BioRender. Cyclin‐dependent kinase (CDK) 12 and

Psychophysiological Processing of Itch in Patients with Chronic Post-burn Itch: An Exploratory Study [PDF]
A substantial proportion of patients with burn injury develop chronic itch, which can severely affect their quality of life. As found in research on chronic pain, different psychophysiological processes may also play a role in chronic itch, of which ...
