A review of predictors and outcomes of work engagement in nonprofit organizations
The study proposes a conceptual model of antecedents and consequences of work engagement in non-profit organizations (NPOs) using the job demands-resources (JD-R) model by employing an extensive literature review.

A biotin‐modified artificial insertion peptide functionalized three‐dimensional high‐curvature‐TiO2 nano‐interface was engineered in a microfluidic chip to improve the isolation efficiency of small extracellular vesicles (sEVs). This chip balanced affinity, releasability, and extendibility, enabling high‐throughput recovery of sEVs for downstream ...

DNA Replication Errors Drive Genome‐Wide Small Inverted Triplication Dynamics
This study provides insight into the dynamic equilibrium mechanism of a novel structural variant, small inverted triplication (SIT), which is generated by misalignment of the 3’ flap generated under DNA replication stress with palindromic sequence. Alternatively, the end sequence may fold back on itself to form an inverted fragment.

Upon inhalation, RM@TNT could persist long‐term in the diseased lungs, while undergoing disintegration to release TNT specifically within the ROS‐rich pathological microenvironments of SA‐ARDS. The released TNT was then precisely delivered to AMs via Tuftsin, where it released Nob intracellularly to activate BMAL1 expression, thus inhibiting AM ...

Formation mechanism of job burnout of coal mine safety managers based on JD-R model
In order to explore the formation mechanism of job burnout of coal mine safety managers, based on the job demand-resource model and grounded theory, the research conducted in-depth interviews with coal mine safety managers, built a JD-R theoretical model

Research goals and why the work was worth doing: Drawing upon the Conservation of Resources (COR) theory (Hobfoll, 1989) and the Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) theory (Bakker & Demerouti, 2017), this study aims to investigate the role of a negative leadership style in impoverishing resources and increasing the negative consequences of demands for people ...

ABSTRACT Acute liver injury (ALI), driven by diverse insults such as drug toxicity and ischemia‐reperfusion, poses a high mortality risk and lacks targeted therapies. While reactive oxygen species (ROS), neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs), and a coordinated cell death pathway PANoptosis have been implicated, their interplay as a unified pathogenic ...

Work ability in the context of the JD-R model: Pathways to promote the well-being of teachers
First, we will introduce a new research instrument measuring work ability among teachers conceptually distinct from other constructs and its psychometrical properties. Second, we will extend the understanding of the relationships between teachers’ work ability on the one hand and job demands, job resources, and burnout on the other hand.
