Application of Elliptic Jerk Motion Profile to Cartesian Space Position Control of a Serial Robot

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2023
The paper discusses the application of a motion profile with an elliptic jerk to Cartesian space position control of serial robots. This motion profile is obtained by means of a kinematic approach, starting from the jerk profile and then calculating ...

MIMO jerk derivative feedforward for motion systems [PDF]

open access: yes2006 American Control Conference, 2006
This paper shows that flexible modes in motion systems result in residual dynamics that can not be reduced using conventional acceleration feedforward and static decoupling. When reference trajectories with low frequency excitation are applied, low frequency tracking errors and cross-talk errors occur as peaks during jerk phases of a motion.

Jerk forms dynamics of a Chua’s family and their new unified circuit implementation

open access: yesIET Circuits, Devices and Systems, 2021
A scheme to implement the Jerk form of the Chua system family using a controllable canonical form applied in linear systems is proposed. The main thought is that the nonlinear function with a single independent variable input can be superposed by a ...

A new multistable jerk chaotic system, its bifurcation analysis, backstepping control-based synchronization design and circuit simulation [PDF]

open access: yesArchives of Control Sciences, 2022
In this work, we present results for a new dissipative jerk chaotic system with three quadratic terms in its dynamics. We describe the bifurcation analysis for the new jerk system and also show that the proposed system exhibits multi-stability.

A novel 3-D jerk chaotic system with three quadratic nonlinearities and its adaptive control

open access: yesArchives of Control Sciences, 2016
This paper announces an eight-term novel 3-D jerk chaotic system with three quadratic nonlinearities. The phase portraits of the novel jerk chaotic system are displayed and the qualitative properties of the jerk system are described.

A new 3-D jerk chaotic system with two cubic nonlinearities and its adaptive backstepping control

open access: yesArchives of Control Sciences, 2017
This paper presents a new seven-term 3-D jerk chaotic system with two cubic nonlinearities. The phase portraits of the novel jerk chaotic system are displayed and the qualitative properties of the jerk system are described.

Noncommutative Sprott systems and their jerk dynamics [PDF]

open access: yesModern Physics Letters A, 2018
In this paper, we provide the noncommutative Sprott models. We demonstrate, that effectively, each of them is described by a system of three complex, ordinary and nonlinear differential equations. Apart from that, we find for such modified models the corresponding (noncommutative) jerk dynamics as well as we study numerically as an example, the ...

Characteristics of Jerk Response Spectra for Elastic and Inelastic Systems [PDF]

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2015
Jerk is the time rate of acceleration and mainly represents the nonstationary component in high frequency band of the earthquake wave. The study on jerk and its response spectra can enhance the recognition of the nonstationary ground motion.

Bifurcations and chaos of coupled Jerk systems

open access: yesWuli Xuebao/Acta Physica Sinica, 2010
Upon the analysis of the equilibrium points as well as the stabilities in coupled Jerk systems, bifurcation sets in parameter space are derived, which divide the parameter space into several regions associated with different forms of dynamics. The dynamical evolution of the coupled system is investigated with the variation of different parameters and ...

On the Possibility of the Jerk Derivative in Electrical Circuits [PDF]

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2016
A subclass of dynamical systems with a time rate of change of acceleration are called Newtonian jerky dynamics. Some mechanical and acoustic systems can be interpreted as jerky dynamics. In this paper we show that the jerk dynamics are naturally obtained
