A Comparative Numerical Study of the Symmetry Chaotic Jerk System with a Hyperbolic Sine Function via Two Different Methods

open access: yesSymmetry, 2023
This study aims to find a solution to the symmetry chaotic jerk system by using a new ABC-FD scheme and the NILM method. The findings of the supplied methods have been compared to Runge–Kutta’s fourth order (RK4).

Analysis of the Influence of a Powertrain Mounting System on a Dual-Clutch Transmission Vehicle under Typical Working Conditions

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
The unsuitably designed powertrain mount may cause jittering and shrugging during the starting and shifting processes of the vehicle, which seriously affects the comfort of using the vehicle.

Jerk Reduction Control of Mechanical Transfer System

open access: yesTRANSACTIONS OF THE JAPAN SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS Series C, 2006
This paper considers vibration suppression of a mechanical transfer system, where the work is connected with the hand flexibly. We adopt the idea of jerk reduction of the hand. From the equation of motion, we first derive a state equation including the jerk and acceleration of the hand, but excluding the displacement and velocity of the work.

Analytical and experimental study of feed rate in high-speed milling [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In the context of high-speed milling (HSM), during the machining process dynamic machine response has to be identified. To achieve this, we have to calculate the feed rate evolution in linear and circular interpolation according to dynamic performance of

Life‐Threatening Bradycardia in Anti‐NMDA‐Receptor Encephalitis and a Novel Use for Permanent Pacing

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Pediatric anti‐NMDA receptor encephalitis (pNMDARE) is an autoantibody‐mediated disorder that can cause severe autonomic dysfunction, including symptomatic bradycardia and asystole. Dysautonomia can last for years, making it very challenging to manage.

Kinematic modelling of a 3-axis NC machine tool in linear and circular interpolation

open access: yes, 2010
Machining time is a major performance criterion when it comes to high-speed machining. CAM software can help in estimating that time for a given strategy.

Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) in a Patient With Compound Heterozygous OPA1 Variants: Case Report and Literature Review

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) is a rare, life‐threatening neurological emergency with unclear etiology in many cases. Mitochondrial dysfunction, often due to disease‐causing genetic variants, is increasingly recognized as a cause, with each gene producing distinct pathophysiological mechanisms.

Multistability and Bifurcation Analysis of a Novel 3D Jerk System: Electronic Circuit Design, FPGA Implementation, and Image Cryptography Scheme

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
In this paper, we propose a novel 3-D jerk system with three quadratic nonlinear terms and demonstrate the dynamical properties of the proposed jerk system in terms of phase portraits, bifurcation diagrams, Lyapunov exponents, multistability and ...

ALS With and Without Upper Motor Neuron Signs: A Comparative Study Supporting the Gold Coast Criteria

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective The Gold Coast criteria permit diagnosis of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) even without upper motor neuron (UMN) signs. However, whether ALS patients with UMN signs (ALSwUMN) and those without (ALSwoUMN) share similar characteristics and prognoses remains unclear.
