Normalized-constrained approach for joint clearance design of deployable overconstrained Myard 5R mechanism

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Mechanical Design, Systems, and Manufacturing, 2015
This paper proposes a normalized-constrained approach for the joint clearance design of deployable overconstrained Myard 5R mechanism. Firstly, the overconstrained mobility characteristic of Myard 5R mechanism is analyzed, we show that the dimensional ...

Sagittal plane joint angles and contributions to paretic toe clearance.

open access: yes, 2014
Healthy controls are depicted in the left and participants post-stroke in the right column. (a and b) Sagittal plane joint angles. Vertical cursor lines in represent toe off (dashed), minimal toe clearance (1st solid), and maximal limb shortening (2nd ...

Minimise joint clearance in rapid fabrication of non-assembly mechanisms

open access: yes, 2011
Layer-based rapid fabrication technologies have two distinct advantages: (1) build parts without geometry restriction; (2) build sub-systems (static or mobile) without the need for assembly.

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an

Research on Influence of Joint Clearance on Precision of 3-TPT Parallel Robot [PDF]

open access: yesMechanical Sciences, 2019
The error model of the working accuracy of parallel mechanism was established in this paper. The D-H matrix method and error independent method were used to analyze the clearance error of mechanism joint based on the inverse position kinematics solution.

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Dynamic Analysis of a Spatial Mechanism Including Frictionless Spherical Clearance Joint With Flexible Socket

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper, the dynamic response of a spatial four-bar mechanism with a spherical clearance joint with flexible socket is investigated. Previous research treats the socket as a whole rigid part and neglects the flexibility of the socket.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.
