Research on Junction Temperature Smooth Control of SiC MOSFET Based on Body Diode Conduction Loss Adjustment

open access: yesEnergies
In a converter of actual working condition, the change in the current and voltage of the power device will cause the junction temperature to fluctuate greatly. This device is subjected to high thermal stress due to the change in the junction temperature.

Competition between electronic cooling and Andreev dissipation in a superconducting micro-cooler [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We discuss very low temperature experiments on superconducting micro-coolers made of a double Normal metal - Insulator - Superconductor junction. We investigate with a high resolution the differential conductance of the micro-cooler as well as of ...

An improved method for obtaining a normalized junction temperature for semiconductors: A concept [PDF]

open access: yes, 1973
Failure rate for given semiconductor device is simply determined by reading value of normalized junction temperature from printout for any given combination of ambient temperature, stress ratio, and maximum rated junction temperature, and obtaining ...

Temperature Dependent Polarity Reversal in Au/Nb:SrTiO3 Schottky Junctions

open access: yes, 2007
We have observed temperature-dependent reversal of the rectifying polarity in Au/Nb:SrTiO3 Schottky junctions. By simulating current-voltage characteristics we have found that the permittivity of SrTiO3 near the interface exhibits temperature dependence ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Research on Equivalent Circuit Model of HVDC Valve and Calculation of Thyristor Junction Temperature

open access: yesActive and Passive Electronic Components
For the difference of thyristor junction temperature at all levels in the transducer valve assembly in the series water circuit, an equivalent model of thyristor junction temperature calculation for the valve assembly is established, and PLECS simulation

Transport through molecular junctions with a nonequilibrium phonon population

open access: yes, 2010
The calculation of the nonlinear conductance of a single-molecule junction is revisited. The self energy on the junction resulting from the electron-phonon interaction has at low temperatures logarithmic singularities (in the real part) and ...

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Comparative study of cooling of automobile LED headlights without and with fins and finding comfortable operating conditions [PDF]

open access: yesArchive of Mechanical Engineering, 2019
LED light must be cooled to avoid reaching a certain temperature. Two different 3D practical domains of LED light are modelled, (i) square aluminium plate with a cylindrical plate and an LED module (model I), (ii) the same provision of model I with 25 ...
