CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Junction-temperature measurement of IMPATT diodes
The breakdown voltage VB of an IMPATT diode is a function of the junction temperature. Pulse techniques are applied to measure VB directly during actual operation, thus giving the temperature within an accuracy of a few per cent. The method also provides a display of 'space-charge resistance at the operating temperature.

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

Визначення температури напівпровідникової структури тиристора при циклічному навантаженні
Ця стаття присвячена методиці визначення максимального і мінімального значення температури напівпровідникової структури тиристорів випрямлячів, що працюють в режимі циклічно змінного навантаження.

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Modelling of Solar Cell Junction Temperature for Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Module
Determination of the junction temperature of solar cells is critical for accurately evaluating on-site performance of solar modules. It is difficult to acquire the junction temperature of cells because solar cells are laminated and encapsulated in ...

TEMPERATURE AND INHIBITORY JUNCTIONAL TRANSMISSION IN GUINEA‐PIG ILEUM [PDF]
The effects of temperature on the inhibitory junctional potential (i.j.p.) and the electrotonic potential, recorded in the circular smooth muscle of the guinea‐pig ileum, were studied with intracellular microelectrodes. The amplitude and time course of the i.j.p. were both dependent on the ambient temperature, the i.j.p.
