Temperature Control of Electromigration to form Gold Nanogap Junctions
Controlled electromigration of gold nanowires of different cross-sectional areas to form nanogap junctions is studied using a feedback method. A linear correlation between the cross sectional area of the gold nanowires and the power dissipated in the ...

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Line junction in a quantum Hall system with two filling fractions [PDF]
We present a microscopic model for a line junction formed by counter or co-propagating single mode quantum Hall edges corresponding to different filling factors.

Inherent temperature effects in magnetic tunnel junctions
Theoretical studies of the temperature dependence of the tunneling magnetoresistance ratio (TMR) are presented. A successful elastic tunneling model has been extended to handle temperature dependence. It treats Fermi smearing and applies Stoner-like behavior to the exchange split band structure in the electrodes to calculate TMR(T).

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Using first principle approaches, we investigate the effects of isotope substitution on the inelastic features in the hydrogen molecular junction. We observe thatlocal heating and inelastic current have significant isotope-substitution effects.

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

A simplified junction temperature curve calculation method for IGBT
This paper introduces a simplified junction temperature curve method for insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs), through the utilization of the discrete integral principle. By quantifying junction temperatures within the fundamental wave period, this

Accurate, rapid, temperature and liquid-level sensor for cryogenic tanks [PDF]
Thermopiles measure ullage gas temperatures to within plus or minus 1.65 deg K between 20 and 300 deg K, and also serve as point liquid-level sensors. Thermopile technique measures smaller temperature differences by keeping the reference junctions inside

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.
