Stability analysis of sampled-data control system and its application to electric power market
The stability of sampled-data systems is investigated using a new type of Lyapunov functional. The interval from the sampling point t k to t k+1 is assumed to be a sampling interval. By fully utilizing the characteristic information on the whole sampling

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Cryptochrome and PAS/LOV proteins play intricate roles in circadian clocks where they act as both sensors and mediators of protein–protein interactions. Their ubiquitous presence in signaling networks has positioned them as targets for small‐molecule therapeutics. This review provides a structural introduction to these protein families.

Sharp estimates of products of inner radii of non-overlapping domains in the complex plane
In the paper we study a generalization of the extremal problem of geometric theory of functions of a complex variable on non-overlapping domains with free poles: Fix any γ ∈ R + and find the maximum (and describe all extremals) of the functional [r (B 0 ,

Interpolation of bilinear operators between Banach function spaces
We study bilinear operators between couples of Banach function spaces with the second coordinate $L_\infty$-space. We show an estimate in terms of the $K$-functional.

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

This study focuses on the stability of time-delay load frequency control (LFC) systems. Based on the Lyapunov–Krasovskii (L–K) functional method, a stability criterion with less conservatism and lower computational complexity is proposed.

Direct and Inverse Approximation Theorems for Baskakov Operators with the Jacobi-Type Weight
We introduce a new norm and a new K-functional Kφλ(f;t)w,λ. Using this K-functional, direct and inverse approximation theorems for the Baskakov operators with the Jacobi-type weight are obtained in this paper.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...
