Influence of Kagocel upon IL‑10 and TNF-α levels in treatment of community-acquired viral-bacterial pneumonia

Medical alphabet, 2020
Introduction. Cytokines regulate intercellular and intersystem interactions and are involved in the development and prevention of various pathologies. Purposes of work were a comparative assessment of the dynamics of the levels of pro- and anti-inflammatory blood cytokines (TNF-α and IL‑10) in patients with community-acquired viral-bacterial pneumonia (

Experimental Assessment of the Effect of Kagocel on Reproductive Function in Pubertal Male Rats

Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 2017
We studied possible toxic effects of antiviral drug Kagocel on reproductive function in pubertal male rats. The drug was administered in therapeutic and 10-fold higher doses throughout the spermatogenesis cycle (48 days). Kagocel did not reduce mating and fertilizing capacities, did not suppress spermatogenesis, and had no toxic effects on the ...

EFFECT OF KAGOCEL PREPARATION ON THE GENERATIVE FUNCTION OF EXPERIMENTAL ANIMALS AT ITS ADMINISTRATION IN THE INFANTILE PERIOD OF THEIR DEVELOPMENT

Toxicological Review, 2017
In experimental studies on rats (males, females) at their infantile stage starting from 10 days, a potential delayed toxic effect of the antiviral drug Kagocel on the reproductive system was studied. The drug was administered for 12 days in a therapeutic dose and at a dose 10-fold higher than the therapeutic one. Reproductive safety was estimated after

Effects of Kagocel® on the Counts of Multipotent Stromal Cells, Expression of Cytokine Genes in Primary Cultures of Bone Marrow Stromal Cells, and Serum Cytokine Concentrations in CBA Mice

Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 2015
The efficiency of cloning of bone marrow multipotent stromal cells (ECF-MSC) from CBA mice and the MSC counts in the femoral bone increased 24 h after a single in vivo (but not in vitro) injection of kagocel (active substance of antiviral drug Kagocel (®) ) 1.4 times (in response to 50-80 μg) and 4.6 times (in response to 250 μg).

Pretreatment with Antiviral Preparation Kagocel Normalizes the Content of Bone Marrow Multipotent Stromal Cells and TNFα in Blood Serum of CBA Mice Disturbed by Administration of S. typhimurium Antigen Complex In Vivo and Maintains High Concentration of IL-10 and Th1 Cytokines

Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 2017
Pretreatment with the active substance of antiviral preparation Kagocel, inductor of type I endogenous IFN, in a daily therapeutic dose (30 μg/mouse) 3 h prior to administration of S. typhimurium antigens to CBA mice reduced the number of bone marrow multipotent stromal cell (significantly increased by 3.2 times on the next day after antigen injection)
