Defect‐Functionalization‐Mediated Tunneling Drives Nonlinear Photoemission in Perovskites

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This cover illustration depicts CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals embedded with functionalized defect vacancies, where electrons migrate through defect‐mediated pathways and emit as lightning‐like beams. The imagery visualizes the core discovery of our work—defect‐functionalization‐mediated tunneling enabling nonlinear photoemission, where deep‐level ...

Electrochemical Modulation of Laser‐Induced Covalent Functionalization of Graphene

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Photoelectrochemical functionalization of graphene introduces the electrochemical potential as an additional parameter for the laser‐induced covalent modification of graphene. Tuning of the potential allows for amplification or suppression of the functionalization reaction with constant laser parameters, which enables in situ Raman analysis of ...

Study of injection and trapping mechanisms of electrical charges in thin dielectric films by Kelvin probe force microscopy (KPFM)

open access: yes, 2015
One of the intrinsic properties of dielectrics is to accumulate electrical charges when subjected to external stresses (temperature, electrical field ...). This property can be helpful for some applications (DRAM...), but leads generally to failure of the device (micro-system...).

Topologically Structured PLLA Fibers With Stress Concentration Effects for Health Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, a multi‐path strategy was developed to enhance the piezoelectric properties of PLLA fibers through the stress concentration effect. The optimized devices generate piezoelectric output up to 14 times that of pure PLLA fibers. This piezoelectric enhancement strategy offers a new approach for high‐performance piezoelectric devices, with ...
