Diastereoselective and enantioselective reduction of tetralin-1,4-dione

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2008
BackgroundThe chemistry of tetralin-1,4-dione, the stable tautomer of 1,4-dihydroxynaphthalene, has not been explored previously. It is readily accessible and offers interesting opportunities for synthesis.ResultsThe title reactions were explored.

A Highly Active Manganese Catalyst for Enantioselective Ketone and Ester Hydrogenation.

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, 2017
A new hydrogenation catalyst based on a manganese complex of a chiral P,N,N ligand has been found to be especially active for the hydrogenation of esters down to 0.1 mol % catalyst loading, and gives up to 97 % ee in the hydrogenation of pro-chiral ...

Interlayer Design for Halide Electrolytes in All‐Solid‐State Lithium Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Halide solid electrolytes, an emerging family of materials, encounter anodic stability challenges that limit their application. By synthesizing Li3YbCl6 and Li3LuCl6 and incorporating a Li6PI3 interlayer, this study achieves lithium‐stable halide electrolytes with reduced interface resistance and enhanced critical current density.

Chromium(II)-catalyzed enantioselective arylation of ketones

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2016
The chromium-catalyzed enantioselective addition of carbo halides to carbonyl compounds is an important transformation in organic synthesis. However, the corresponding catalytic enantioselective arylation of ketones has not been reported to date. Herein,

Harnessing Synergistic Cooperation of Neighboring Active Motifs in Heterogeneous Catalysts for Enhanced Catalytic Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review examines the critical role of neighboring active motifs in heterogeneous catalysts, emphasizing how their synergistic cooperativity can be rationally designed to modulate catalytic properties. The discussion centers on the modulation of electronic and geometric structures, categorizing the catalytic systems into metal‐acid (Brønsted/Lewis ...

Blood Glucose Levels, Platelet Count, and Urinary Ketone Levels in Lame Bali Cattle

open access: yesMedia Kedokteran Hewan
Lameness is a common problem in Bali cattle. It is caused by various factors, both infectious and non-infectious. This study aims to evaluate the physiological changes in the levels of blood glucose and urinary ketone in lame Bali cattle.
