In this study we used Virtual Reality to simulate a toddler’s first few days’ experiences in kindergarten and test whether we can improve the teacher’s understanding of a toddler’s feelings. In order to evaluate the load on the low back of teachers in kindergartens, basic activity and working posture were analyzed for four teachers by means of video recording. The trunk inclination angle (TIA) was also measured continuously during full workshifts for 12 kindergarten teachers by means of an inclination monitor.
