Kinematic Design of a Tripod Parallel Mechanism for Robotic Legs

In this paper a parallel manipulator with tripod architecture is proposed with the closed-form formulation of its functioning. The mechanism is 3-Degrees-of-Freedom manipulator that can be used as robotic leg for mobile walking robots with two or more legs.

Mechanism Design and Kinematics Analysis of a Bat Robot

This paper proposes a bat robot mechanism and investigates the kinematics of flying process. After observing the flight of bat for a long period of time and analyzing its flying kinematics, a bionic robot was synthesized based on the bat structure to realize the deploying and flapping movements of the double membranous wings.
