ANALYSIS OF MUTATIONS IN KRAS AND BRAF GENES IN COLORECTAL CANCER IN RUSSIAN PATIENTS

open access: yesСибирский онкологический журнал, 2016
Mutations in KRAS and BRAF genes in 80 colorectal cancer (CRC) samples from Russian patients were tested using two methods: 1) allele-specific real-time PCR (as-rt PCR) and 2) wild-type blocking PCR with Sanger sequencing (WTBS).

Targeting ST2 expressing activated regulatory T cells in Kras-mutant lung cancer

open access: yesOncoImmunology, 2020
Oncogenic KRAS-mutant lung cancers remain treatment refractory. A better understanding of the immune response of KRAS-mutant lung cancers is required to facilitate the development of potential therapeutic strategies.

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

KRAS Mouse Models: Modeling Cancer Harboring KRAS Mutations [PDF]

open access: yesGenes & Cancer, 2011
KRAS is a potent oncogene and is mutated in about 30% of all human cancers. However, the biological context of KRAS-dependent oncogenesis is poorly understood. Genetically engineered mouse models of cancer provide invaluable tools to study the oncogenic process, and insights from KRAS-driven models have significantly increased our understanding of the ...
