Fecal extracellular vesicles (fEVs) from DILI patients have a distinct bacterial profile. This study provides evidence that bacterial EVs enter the bloodstream. DILI and MASLD F≥3 fEVs increase the pro‐inflammatory response and hepatocyte steatosis. FEVs from DILI patients enhance the hepatotoxic potential of diclofenac.

ABSTRACT Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are nanoscale carriers of bioactive molecules that mediate intercellular communication. Small EVs (sEVs) have shown cardioprotective effects in models of myocardial infarction (MI), but their uptake and biodistribution remain incompletely understood.

Direct Prediction of VLCADD Severity Using Newborn Screening Analyte Data
ABSTRACT A critical concern of newborn screening (NBS) for very‐long chain acyl‐CoA dehydrogenase deficiency (VLCADD) is the difficulty of predicting clinical outcomes. To address this, we investigated neonatal C18:2‐carnitine concentrations as a possible predictor of VLCADD phenotype.
