Tumour heterogeneity and clonal evolution of metastatic salivary gland cancer were evaluated in two patients with adenoid carcinoma and one patient with myoepithelial carcinoma. Radiology‐guided autopsy enabled multi‐region sampling (total samples n = 149), followed by whole‐genome sequencing and phylogenetic reconstruction (17 tumour samples, 4–7 per ...

Second Language Transfer During Third Language Acquisition
A recent focus in the study of cross-linguistic influence is the role of transfer during third language acquisition. How do the learner’s first and second languages influence the acquisition of a third language?

ABSTRACT Objective Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD) is one of the most debilitating and common muscular dystrophies. Despite its severity, no approved therapy exists for FSHD patients. However, several therapeutic candidates are currently under development, and some have recently entered clinical trials, marking the need for reliable ...

We develop a data‐driven method to derive the mathematical expressions of the Flory–Huggins interaction parameter χ for the swelling behavior of temperature–responsive hydrogels. Starting from initial assumptions of χ, our workflow combines Bayesian optimization, Flory–Rehner theory, and symbolic regression to generate candidate χ expressions.

Age Effects on the Process of L2 Acquisition? Evidence From the Acquisition of Negation and Finiteness in L2 German [PDF]
It is widely assumed that ultimate attainment in adult second language (L2) learners often differs quite radically from ultimate attainment in child L2 learners. This article addresses the question of whether learners at different ages also show qualitative differences in the process of L2 acquisition.

A Practical Noise2Noise Denoising Pipeline for High‐Throughput Raman Spectroscopy
A lightweight and reproducible denoising pipeline for high‐throughput Raman spectroscopy is introduced, based on a 1D convolutional autoencoder trained with a Noise2Noise strategy. Using only repeated short‐exposure acquisitions, the method suppresses stochastic noise without reference spectra, enabling reliable spectral reconstruction while preserving
