Forming‐free epitaxial Pt/La0.5Sr0.5CoOx (LSCO)/La0.5Sr0.5MnO3 (LSMO) memristors exhibit heterogeneous and partially reversible topotactic switching involving brownmillerite (BM)‐, Grenier (GN)‐like‐, and perovskite (PV)‐like configurations. Atomic‐resolution scanning transmission electron microscopy and in situ transmission electron microscopy resolve

Defect‐Mediated Inelastic Light Scattering by Infrared Phonons in Hexagonal Boron Nitride
Optically active defects in hexagonal boron nitride enable inelastic stimulated light scattering mediated by infrared‐active phonons, relaxing conventional Raman selection rules. Defect engineering enhances the Stokes‐conversion process and activates both TO‐ and LO‐phonon scattering channels.

A giant insulator to metal transition and emergent superparamagnetism are revealed by nanoparticle exsolution in non‐stoichiometric titanate perovskite thin films. By combining transport, synchrotron spectroscopy, and first‐principles calculations, this work reveals how defect reconfiguration and lattice reconstruction fundamentally reshape electronic ...

Cross-Linguistic Transfer of Object Clitic Structure: A Case of L3 Brazilian Portuguese
This study examines the role of previously known language in L3 Brazilian Portuguese (BP) object expression acquisition. It investigates the claims of the main models of L3 transfer, the cumulative enhancement model (CEM) (Flynn et al.

Alkoxy chain length drives a continuous transition from eclipsed AA to a serrated, slipped AA* configuration over Co‐porphyrin COFs. A moderate slip both contracts the pore channel to enrich CO2 and suppress hydrogen evolution, and enhances collective high‐spin of Co sites, which delivers a record CO production rate with high selectivity.

Language Distance and L3 Japanese Acquisition in Morphosyntactic Module
This study applies mathematical linguistics to explore how language distance plays an essential role in third language acquisition in terms of a morphosyntactic module. Data were drawn from 3410 essays written in Japanese by low, middle and high levels of learners from 12 first-language (L1) backgrounds who acquire English as a second language (L2 ...

Bifunctional Catalysis Drives Efficient and Ethanol‐Producing Aqueous Zn‐CO2 Batteries
A unified bifunctional catalyst breaks the trade‐off between CO2 reduction and O2 evolution, delivering high efficiency, ethanol production, and long‐term stability in Zn‐CO2 batteries while revealing degradation pathways for next‐generation bifunctional electrocatalysts.

Third Languages Acquisition (TLA): Educational Multilingualism at Early Ages
In an increasingly globalized world, learning foreign languages (FLs) is essential, particularly in education. Multilingualism is critical due to the multicultural and interconnected nature of societies, yet early third language acquisition (TLA) is not ...
