A stretchable and bendable resistance sensor made predominantly from sustainable and biodegradable components is conductive courtesy a water soluble self‐doped conjugated polymer. The wearable sensor measures micromovements by changes in its resistance and it can track both human movement and phonation. Abstract Sustainable electronic devices offer the

ULAS J141623.94+134836.3: A BLUE T DWARF COMPANION TO A BLUE L DWARF [PDF]
We confirm the substellar nature of ULAS J141623.94+134836.3, a common proper motion companion to the blue L dwarf SDSS J141624.08+134826.7 identified by Burningham et al. and Scholz. Low-resolution 0.8-2.4 micron spectroscopy obtained with IRTF/SpeX shows strong H2O and CH4 absorption bands, consistent with a T7.5 spectral type, and we see possible ...

Flexible 3D‐Printed Cellulosic Constructs for EMI Shielding and Piezoresistive Sensing
This study presents a method for fabricating lightweight, conductive, and compressible 3D‐printed structures from CNFs. By using ion‐seeded 3D printing and cold chemical vapor polymerization, PEDOT/CNF frameworks with electrical conductivity and compressibility are produced.

Graphical Abstract Paired‐samples t‐tests showed that after exercise, subjects displayed increased reading speed and fewer eye drifts, coupled with increased mean scores. This study demonstrated that running, an acute, coordinative, aerobic exercise, improves attention and increases the testing performance of the SAT reading.

Crossmatching of high-proper motion L, T, and Y brown dwarfs with large photometric surveys
L, T, and Y brown dwarf (BD) exploration is a topical issue. First, the transition boundary between planets and BDs is not fully understood yet. Second, there is a phenomenon called the L/T-transition.

Finding ultracool brown dwarfs with MegaCam on CFHT: method and first results [PDF]
We present the first results of a wide field survey for cool brown dwarfs with the MegaCam camera on the CFHT telescope, the Canada-France Brown Dwarf Survey, hereafter CFBDS. Our objectives are to find ultracool brown dwarfs and to constrain the field-brown dwarf mass function thanks to a larger sample of L and T dwarfs. We identify candidates in CFHT/

SpeX Spectroscopy of Unresolved Very Low-Mass Binaries. I. Identification of Seventeen Candidate Binaries Straddling the L Dwarf/T Dwarf Transition [PDF]
We report the identification of 17 candidate brown dwarf binaries whose components straddle the L dwarf/T dwarf transition. These sources were culled from a large near-infrared spectral sample of L and T dwarfs observed with the Infrared Telescope Facility SpeX spectrograph. Candidates were selected on the basis of spectral ratios which segregate known

THE ORBIT OF THE L DWARF + T DWARF SPECTRAL BINARY SDSS J080531.84+481233.0* [PDF]
ABSTRACT SDSS J080531.84+481233.0 is a closely separated, very-low-mass (VLM) binary identified through combined-light spectroscopy and confirmed as an astrometric variable. Here we report four years of radial velocity monitoring observations of the system that reveal significant and periodic variability, confirming the binary nature of ...

The necessity and feasibility of enhancing light outcoupling in perovskite light‐emitting diodes (PeLEDs) is highlighted. On near‐IR PeLEDs, low‐cost, micro‐textured light management (LM) foils demonstrate boost in light extraction. Optimizing perovskite thickness and the optical cavity in synergy with LM foils is crucial for maximizing performance ...
