Physical Review E, 2002We study the lane-changing behavior in multilane highway modeling by a cellular automaton. We analyze the effects of speed limit and stochastic noise. A new parameter is introduced to allow vehicles not to change lanes even when the environmental criteria are met.

Lane confidence assessment and lane change decision for lane-level localization

A novel lane changing algorithm with efficient method of lane detection

The inverse perspective mapping image is taken for line detection. During image preprocessing, PPHT method and a third degree Bezier spline are applied for line fitting step.
