A state dependent mandatory lane-changing model for urban arterials with hidden markov model method

open access: yesInternational Journal of Transportation Science and Technology, 2019
The inherent intention and decision process of lane changes are complex. Though the external environment and traffic conditions are changing along the traveling direction, the drivers’ characteristics and preferences may lead to persistence of preferable

ATP13A2 is involved in intracellular polyamine transport in lung epithelial cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Spermidine transport in lung epithelial cells involves the polyamine transporter ATP13A2. Cell proliferation is associated with the upregulation of ATP13A2. Polyamines are present in all living cells and are implicated in various crucial cellular processes such as proliferation, apoptosis and autophagy.

Planning flexible and smooth paths for lane‐changing manoeuvres of autonomous vehicles

open access: yesIET Intelligent Transport Systems, 2021
Lane‐changing manoeuvres are essential for daily driving tasks. Safety and comfort are the primary issues to be considered during the lane‐changing manoeuvres of autonomous vehicles. However, because the traffic environment is complicated and changeable,

FGFR Like1 drives esophageal cancer progression via EMT, PI3K/Akt, and notch signalling: insights from clinical data and next‐generation sequencing analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Clinical analysis reveals significant dysregulation of FGFRL1 in esophageal cancer (EC) patients. RNAi‐coupled next‐generation sequencing (NGS) and in vitro study reveal FGFRL1‐mediated EC progression via EMT, PI3K/Akt, and Notch pathways. Functional assays confirm its role in tumor growth, migration, and invasion.

Mycobacterial cell division arrest and smooth‐to‐rough envelope transition using CRISPRi‐mediated genetic repression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing and phenotypic exploration in nontuberculous mycobacteria. In this Research Protocol, we describe approaches to control, monitor, and quantitatively assess CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing in M. smegmatis and M. abscessus model organisms.

ASSESSMENT LANE CHANGING BEHAVIOR IN LOCAL RURAL ROADS [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Engineering and Sustainable Development, 2019
The lane changing model is one of the most important cornerstone models to build a traffic microscopic simulation model. To build such lane changing model, there is a need to investigate the drivers’ characteristics from field data.

Pay to change lanes: A cooperative lane-changing strategy for connected/automated driving [PDF]

open access: yesTransportation Research Part C: Emerging Technologies, 2019
This paper proposes a cooperative lane changing strategy using a transferable utility games framework. This allows vehicles to engage in transactions where gaps in traffic are created in exchange for monetary compensation. The proposed approach is best suited to discretionary lane change maneuvers. We formulate gains in travel time, referred to as time

Differential regulation of ZFAS1 splice variants by endoplasmic reticulum stress in hepatocyte cell lines

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ZFAS1 is a lncRNA promoting cell proliferation and migration, exhibiting high expression in various cancers. It is conserved, widely expressed, and produces multiple splice variants with unclear roles. We identified several splice variants in hepatocyte models, and found that inhibiting or suppressing regulators of the unfolded protein response (PERK ...

Research on Decision-Making Behavior of Discretionary Lane-Changing Based on Cumulative Prospect Theory

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Transportation, 2020
In this paper, the decision-making model of discretionary lane-changing is established using cumulative prospect theory (CPT). Through analyzing the vehicles’ dynamic running states, safety spacing calculating approaches for discretionary lane-changing ...
