Lane changing intent identification based on logistic regression model [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
To reduce the risk of the lane changing behaviors, based on integrated collection platform, the research group conducts experiments under real road environment for the purpose of studying divers' lane changing intent identification.

A State Dependent Lane-Changing Model for Urban Arterials with Hidden Markov Model Method [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The inherent intention and decision process of lane changes are complex and unobservable. Though the external environment and traffic conditions are changing along the traveling direction, the drivers characteristics and preferences may lead to ...

Fusogenic RNA Nanomodules for Fusion‐Mediated and Multiplexed siRNA Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A fusogenic lipid‐layered RNA nanomodules (L‐CRAMs) enable high‐capacity and long‐lasting siRNA delivery through membrane fusion. These nanomodules carry exceptionally large siRNA payloads, avoid conventional endosomal uptake, and release multiple functional siRNAs through Dicer‐mediated processing.

A Thermodynamic Model of Antiferroelectics and Its Application to Electric Field Induced Antiferroelectric‐Ferroelectric Transition in PbZrO3

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A thermodynamic model that incorporates ferroelectric, antiferroelectric, and antiferrodistortive orders of PbZrO3${\rm PbZrO}_3$ is established and parameterized based on experimental measurements and first‐principles calculations. We derive a Clapeyron‐like equation for describing the temperature‐dependence of critical electric fields for the ...

Analysis and Modeling of Lane Changing Behavior [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Lane changing is one of the most basic activities when driving on freeways or arterials. A lane changing maneuver may be classified, depending on the driver\u27s motivation, as mandatory or discretionary.

Light‐Induced Field‐Tunneling Synapses in Solution‐Processed Van Der Waals Heterostructures for Scalable, Retina‐Inspired Optical Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A scalable, solution‐processed WSe2/ZrO2‐x van der Waals heterostructure realizes a light‐induced field‐tunneling synapse (LIFTS) that activates exclusively under bright illumination, emulating the photopic adaptation of the human retina at the device level.

Variable Speed Limit Compliance Impact on Bottleneck Lane Changing Pattern [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Variable Speed Limit (VSL), an active traffic demand management (ATDM) strategy, is widely exercised to improved freeway operations by influencing collective driving pattern during congested condition.

Biomimetic Core–Shell Liposome Nanoparticles Deplete Lipoproteins and Enhance the Purity of Extracellular Vesicles from Human Blood

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Lipoprotein‐mimicking nanoparticles (SL‐NPs), comprising Fe3O4@SiO2 cores coated with liposomal bilayers, selectively capture lipoproteins through protein corona formation. The resulting SL‐NP‐lipoprotein complexes can be removed by low‐speed centrifugation, thereby enhancing the purity of small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) isolated from human serum ...

The New Italian Road Code and the virtues of the ‘shame lane’ [PDF]

open access: yes
In July 2003 a new Road Code was approved by the Italian parliament. Among many reforms whose validity is not questioned here, the new law states that on three-lane motorways the right lane should not be reserved anymore to slow vehicles alone. As in two-

An Epigenetic Fate Converter Based on Nuclei‐Targeting Lipid Nanoparticles Drives Neuronal Programming of Stem Cells for Spinal Cord Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Schematic illustration of LNP‐MPG nuclei‐targeting delivery of HMW‐FGF2 promoting histone acetylation to regulate the fate of DPSCs and treat spinal cord injury. LNPs components include pHMW‐FGF2 plasmid, DSPC, Dlin‐MC3‐DMA, cholesterol, and PEG2000, and are modified with MPG to form HMW‐FGF2@LNP‐MPG (HLM). HLM nuclei‐targets DPSCs to deliver HMW‐FGF2,
