This research explores the structural, electronic, mechanical, and optical characteristics of lead‐free cubic Ca3BiI3 under hydrostatic pressure up to 15 GPa using first‐principles methods. The findings confirm that Ca3BiI3 becomes pressure‐dependent and has potential applications in advanced photovoltaic and optoelectronic devices.

Language Access is a Catalyst for Early Numerical Abilities
ABSTRACT Recent research has found that the cumulative amount of time a child has had auditory access to language accounts for differences in early numerical abilities between oral Deaf and Hard‐of‐Hearing (DHH) and hearing preschoolers. We replicate and extend these findings by exploring the role of language ability and salience of numerical ...

Mismatch negativity (MMN) and late discriminative negativity (LDN) were reliably elicited by pitch contour deviants across adulthood (18–86 years). MMN amplitude declined with age and predicted subsequent auditory memory precision, whereas LDN amplitude remained largely stable and showed no relationship with memory performance.

ABSTRACT It is well‐known that adults vary to an important extent with regard to L2 learning outcomes. One apparent reason is the degree of exposure to the target language. Furthermore, it has been suggested that adult learning is more affected by social and psychological variables than in younger learners.
