ChemBioChem, Volume 27, Issue 5, 13 March 2026.The article reviews the green synthesis of biogenic nanoparticles produced by cyanobacteria, highlighting their antimicrobial and cytotoxic properties. These nanoparticles, formed intra‐ or extracellularly, show activity against Gram‐positive and Gram‐negative bacteria as well as fungi and can induce apoptosis in tumor cells.
