Resistance risk assessment of the novel complex II inhibitor pyflubumide in the polyphagous pest Tetranychus urticae [PDF]
Pyflubumide is a novel selective carboxanilide acaricide that inhibits mitochondrial complex II of spider mite species such as Tetranychus urticae. We explored the baseline toxicity and potential cross-resistance risk of pyflubumide in a reference panel ...

Toxicity of Paraquat and Dicamba on Caenorhabditis Elegans LC50 Value
Paraquat and dicamba are chemicals commonly used in agriculture for plant control. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has classified paraquat into a restricted use class for use only by practitioners, as it is highly toxic. In this study, the effects of different concentrations of paraquat and dicamba toxic substances on C.

Evaluation of acute toxicity of copper cyanide to freshwater fish, Catla catla (Hamilton) [PDF]
The acute toxicity of copper cyanide to the juveniles of Indian major carp Catla catla (2±0.5 cm) was evaluated under static renewal conditions. The concentrations of copper cyanide that killed 50% of the carp fingerlings within 96-h (96-h LC50) was ...

Nematicidal activity of plant extracts against the root-knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita [PDF]
Nematicidal activity of extracts from plants was assayed against Meloidogyne incognita. In laboratory assays extracts from tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L), clove (Syzygium aromaticum L), betelvine (Piper betle L), and sweet flag (Acorus calamus L) were ...

A mathematical model for estimating the LC50 (or LD50) among an insect life cycle
In this study, a mathematical model is made to estimate the median lethal concentration or dose (LC50 or LD50). The model is based on the data of different insecticide groups, where each one is represented by the effect of three insecticides over ...

Photocatalytic treatment of glyphosate herbicide in agricultural wastewater is achieved through the cooperative effect of the local polarization field and dipole field mediated by lattice‐distorted carbon nitride. Glyphosate is completely degraded via selective C─P bond cleavage with a CO evolution rate of 1166 µmol g−1 h−1.

Bioassays with terrestrial and aquatic species as monitoring tools of hydrocarbon degradation [PDF]
In this study chemical analyses and ecotoxicity tests were applied for the assessment of a heavily hydrocarbon-contaminated soil prior and after the application of a remediation procedure that consisted in the stimulation of soil autochthonous ...

Abstract Transformer‐based molecular models pretrained on SMILES strings demonstrate strong performance in property prediction. However, these model often lack explicit integration of molecular surface charge distributions that govern intermolecular interactions such as hydrogen bonding and polarity.
