ABSTRACT There are sex differences with immune responses where females exhibit stronger immune responses compared to males. Both sex hormones and sex chromosome differences between males and females contribute to the observed sex differences with innate and adaptive immune cell composition and function.

The acute and dermal toxicity of antiparasitic salt briquettes on laboratory animals

The acute toxicity of salt briquettes with ivermectin is investigated. LD50 for white rats is 6400 mg/kg, white mice – 10300 mg/kg (8945÷10854). At drawing on the intact leather (skin) of rats LD50 makes more than 12500 mg/kg.

Larvicidal Activity of Naringenin: Betaine Cocrystals Against Aedes Aegypti

This study demonstrates that naringenin: betaine cocrystals significantly enhance larvicidal activity against Aedes aegypti compared to physical mixtures or pure compounds. Improved dissolution properties contributed to higher mortality rates, supporting the use of cocrystallization as a promising green technology for vector management.
