Goal-Oriented Authoring Approach and Design of Learning Systems
2008Since several years, a set of researches concerns process modeling of learning situations integrating digital technologies. Educational Modelling Languages (EML) have been carried out to provide interoperable descriptions of learning scenarios. In order to generalize the use of EML, it is necessary to provide authoring environments allowing users to ...

AbstractA field experiment of ninety‐six employees tested a model of the relationships among dispositional learning orientation, self‐efficacy, goal orientation context, and declarative knowledge. Specifically, the model predicted positive influences of task‐specific self‐efficacy (pre‐ and mid‐training) and declarative knowledge in the relationship ...

Collective Goal Orientation and Justice Climate on Team Learning
2008 International Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering, 2008With the popularity of teamwork, knowledge embedded in team becomes an important competitive advantage of many organizations. This paper tested the influence of team goal orientation and justice climate on team learning behavior. Results demonstrate that collective learning goal orientation and justice climate are effective predicators of team learning.

In-Project Learning by Goal-oriented Measurement
2003Measurement is often advocated as a means to get a better grip on software development. Measurement implements a method to gain knowledge of what is happening, and therefore is in fact a learning process. The most common method for software measurement is the Goal/Question/Metric approach (GQM).

In line with the APA's (1997) learner-centered principles, pedagogies that address factors personal to the learner are increasingly relevant. Feedback, long seen as a staple of constructive learning environments, is a highly individualized process that is known to interact with many of these personal factors to affect learning outcomes differentially ...
