Investigation on Klebsiella pneumoniae in the field of extracellular vesicles

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Medicine, EarlyView.
The role of extracellular vesicles in the pathogenicity and antibiotic resistance, as well as treatment and prevention of Klebsiella pneumoniae. Abstract Klebsiella pneumoniae (KP), recognized for its pronounced antibiotic resistance, is a prevalent agent of nosocomial infections such as hospital‐acquired pneumonia.

Analysis of Differentially Expressed Proteins Involved in Shrimp and Crab Allergies

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Laboratory Analysis, EarlyView.
Using proteomics techniques, we identified 90 differentially expressed proteins in children with shrimp and crab allergies compared to normal controls, with 82 upregulated and 8 downregulated proteins. Validation of MRC2 upregulation by ELISA in allergic patients highlights the potential role of this protein in the allergic response.

Photoaffinity labeling coupled to MS to identify peptide biological partners: Secondary reactions, for better or for worse?

open access: yesMass Spectrometry Reviews, EarlyView.
Abstract Affinity photolabeling is a smart method to study noncovalent and transient interactions and provide a submolecular picture of the contacts between interacting partners. In this review, we will focus on the identification of peptide partners using photoaffinity labeling coupled to mass spectrometry in different contexts such as in vitro with a
