Edible Insect Allergens: An Emerging Food Safety Challenge
Allergic responses to edible insects arise via two main pathways: cross‐reactivity with homologous arthropod allergens and primary sensitization to edible insect proteins, both leading to IgE‐mediated immune activation. ABSTRACT Edible insects are increasingly promoted as sustainable protein sources; however, their allergenic potential remains a ...

Guild‐Specific Frog Responses to Natural Habitat Structure Gradients in an Atlantic Forest Mosaic
This study investigated how habitat structure gradients are associated with frog species richness and occupancy in a naturally heterogeneous Atlantic Forest mosaic. We found that frog richness and occupancy patterns varied among ecological guilds and were highest in sites associated with lower values of the habitat structure gradient, which also ...

Antipredatory Strategies of Anurans: An Updated Conceptual Review
To unravel the evolutionary dynamics of predator–prey interactions, we propose an updated, three‐tiered classification of anuran antipredatory strategies. By mapping non‐behavioral, individual, and group defenses across five functional phases, this integrative framework introduces the concept of synergetic coupling.
