Lipid metabolism in pancreatic cancer: emerging roles and potential targets
Abstract Pancreatic cancer is one of the most serious health issues in developed and developing countries, with a 5‐year overall survival rate currently <9%. Patients typically present with advanced disease due to vague symptoms or lack of screening for early cancer detection.

PDCD11 overexpression highly correlates to poor prognosis in p53‐mutant breast and colon cancers. Through interaction with C‐MYC in the nucleoplasm, PDCD11 hinders C‐MYC‐induced SKP2 from binding to the C‐MYC MB2 domain for ubiquitination, thereby stabilizing C‐MYC to drive tumor progression.

Fabrication and Functionalisation of Nanocarbon‐Based Field‐Effect Transistor Biosensors
Next‐generation diagnostics: Nanocarbon‐based field effect transistors (NC‐FETs) use incoming target analytes to impart a gating effect on conductance. Here, we review the operational mechanisms behind NC‐FETs, the fabrication and functionalisation of NC‐FETs with receptor biomolecules and downstream biosensing applications.
