Improved Accumulation Capabilities of Phosphorus and Potassium in Green Manures and Its Relationship with Soil Properties and Enzymatic Activities

open access: yesAgronomy, 2019
Cultivation of green manure crops is important strategy for improving soil fertility in South China. Therefore, it is important to obtain plant varieties that can better accumulate nutrients during the green manuring phase.

Rapid CO2 effects on protein‐related metabolism during photosynthetic gas exchange

open access: yesThe Plant Journal, Volume 127, Issue 1, July 2026.
SUMMARY It is common practice to vary atmospheric CO2 mole fraction (Ca) during gas exchange experiments to manipulate photorespiration and explore photosynthetic properties such as maximum carboxylation velocity. In doing so, it is assumed that changing Ca essentially alters the carboxylation‐to‐oxygenation ratio, with negligible effects on other ...

Safety evaluation of an extension of use of the food enzyme leucyl aminopeptidase from the genetically modified Aspergillus oryzae strain NZYM‐BU

open access: yesEFSA Journal, Volume 24, Issue 7, July 2026.
Abstract The food enzyme leucyl aminopeptidase (EC 3.4.11.1) is produced with the genetically modified Aspergillus oryzae strain NZYM‐BU by Novozymes A/S. The safety of this food enzyme was evaluated previously, and it did not give rise to safety concerns when used in five food manufacturing processes.

COMPARATIVE ELECTROPHORETIC PATTERNS OF ALBUMINS/ GLOBULINS EXTRACTED FROM DRY GRAINS AND GREEN MALTS OF BARLEY VARIETIES [PDF]

open access: yesPoljoprivreda, 2012
Applicability of electrophoretic separations of albumins/globulins, followed by nonspecific protein staining and specific glycoprotein and aminopeptidase detection has been examined for barley variety discrimination.
