The influence of altitude on infestations by coffee leaf-miner, Leucoptera coffeella, and on predation levels of the species by wasps is provided. Coffee leaves were sampled from July 1998 to April 2001 in experimental plots from coffee plantations at nine different altitudes. Results showed pest occurrence throughout the whole year.
