This study presents a reversible temperature sensor with high switching ratio, ∼103. The device is fabricated using PET‐ITO and carbon nanotube dispersions in alkane. Considering its application in cold chain logistics, a proof‐of‐concept with LED is showcased. Thus, a temperature drop below the threshold temperature (crystallization temperature of the

Protocol for the Design and Assembly of a Light Sheet Light Field Microscope
Light field microscopy is a recent development that makes it possible to obtain images of volumes with a single camera exposure, enabling studies of fast processes such as neural activity in zebrafish brains at high temporal resolution, at the expense of

Towards Defect Phase Diagrams: From Research Data Management to Automated Workflows
A research data management infrastructure is presented for the systematic integration of heterogeneous experimental and simulation data required for defect phase diagrams. The approach combines openBIS with a companion application for large‐object storage, automated metadata extraction, provenance tracking and federated data access, thereby supporting ...

Enhanced Light Sheet Elastic Scattering Microscopy by Using a Supercontinuum Laser
Light sheet fluorescence microscopy techniques have revolutionized biological microscopy enabling low-phototoxic long-term 3D imaging of living samples. Although there exist many light sheet microscopy (LSM) implementations relying on fluorescence, just ...

Lattice light sheet microscopy using tiling lattice light sheets
We present a novel method used to implement tiling lattice light sheets (LLS) in lattice light sheet microscopy (LLSM) on regular LLS microscopes without changing the LLS microscope hardware. A LLS is tiled by applying binary phase maps acquired from off-center cross-sections of the corresponding optical lattice to the binary SLM used in LLS ...

Mg–Zn composites with a thickness of 0.21 mm were fabricated using roll bonding of a kirigami‐patterned Mg alloy inlay within a Zn matrix. Thermal activation following this process led to the formation of tailored intermetallic structures, which provided the composite with enhanced flexural strength.

Light-sheet microscope configurations
For many years, the lack of commercial light sheet microscopes has led to home-built setups with different implementations for illumination and detection patterns, number of objective lenses and cameras, sample chamber designs, and control software. Even

3D single-molecule super-resolution microscopy with a tilted light sheet
Light-sheet single-molecule 3D super-resolution microscopes can’t image close to a coverslip or may require complex apparatus. Here the authors overcome such limitations using a tilted light sheet strategy with long axial range point spread functions on ...
