Characterization and Design Framework for Micro‐ and Nanoscale Printed Metal Interconnects in Hybrid Electronic Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This work establishes a framework for high‐resolution printed interconnects by coupling e‐jet printing control, multilayer deposition, and sintering optimization. Ink properties and printing speed influence particle stacking, while different sintering atmospheres drive distinct microstructural evolution.

Degradation Mechanisms in PEM Water Electrolysis: Diagnosis and Impact

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This review provides an analysis of degradation mechanisms in proton electrolyte membrane water electrolyzers (PEMWE), focusing on all key components. It discusses diagnostic and measurement techniques for evaluating degradation, less‐studied mechanisms, and an expert survey.

Light sheet fluorescence microscopy

Nature Reviews Methods Primers, 2021
Light sheet fluorescence microscopy (LSFM) uses a thin sheet of light to excite only fluorophores within the focal volume. Light sheet microscopes (LSMs) have a true optical sectioning capability and, hence, provide axial resolution, restrict photobleaching and phototoxicity to a fraction of the sample and use cameras to record tens to thousands of ...

Quantifiable Intravital Light Sheet Microscopy

2022
Live imaging of zebrafish embryos that maintains normal development can be difficult to achieve due to a combination of sample mounting, immobilization, and phototoxicity issues that, once overcome, often still results in image quality sufficiently poor that computer-aided analysis or even manual analysis is not possible. Here, we describe our mounting
