Implementation of Linear Controllers via Active Disturbance Rejection Control Structure

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2021
Linear active disturbance rejection control (LADRC) takes the controlled plant as a cascaded integral model and treats all other plant information and external disturbances as a generalized disturbance, and uses an linear extended state observer (ESO) to estimate the generalized disturbance and incorporates it in a linear state feedback control law to ...

Analysis and Tuning of General Linear Active Disturbance Rejection Controllers

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2019
General linear active disturbance rejection control (LADRC) is studied in the paper. First, it is shown that there are some limitations in the conventional LADRC, and then some properties of general LADRC are analyzed. It is proved that any strictly proper controller with integration can be implemented via a general LADRC, thus extends the application ...

Tuning of linear active disturbance rejection controller with robustness specification

ISA Transactions, 2019
Active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) treats all the model uncertainties and all the external disturbances as a generalized disturbance. It uses an extended state observer (ESO) to estimate the generalized disturbance in real time, and compensate it using a state-feedback control law, thus can achieve good disturbance rejection performance.

Linear Active Disturbance Rejection Control: Analysis and Tuning via IMC

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2015
Linear active disturbance-rejection control (LADRC) is investigated in this paper. First, it is shown that LADRC structure can be changed to a two-degree-of-freedom (TDF) internal model control (IMC) structure, where the nominal model for the IMC design is simply a multiple integral plant, so analysis of LADRC can be done via the IMC framework. Then it

Non-linear active disturbance rejection control for upper limb rehabilitation exoskeleton

open access: yesProceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part I: Journal of Systems and Control Engineering, 2020
Trajectory tracking in upper limb rehabilitation exercises is utilized for repeatability of joint movement to improve the patient’s recovery in the early stages of rehabilitation. In this article, non-linear active disturbance rejection control as a combination of non-linear extended-state observer and non-linear state error feedback is used for the ...

Linear Active Disturbance Rejection Control for Fast Nuclear Reactor

open access: yesVolume 1: Operations and Maintenance, Engineering, Modifications, Life Extension, Life Cycle and Balance of Plant; I&C, Digital Controls, and Influence of Human Factors, 2017
Since dynamics of a fast nuclear power reactor is quite nonlinear, uncertain and time-varying. Moreover, the reactor period depends on the neutron lifetime and it has a crucial importance in reactor power so it is necessary to have a control system for the reactor power.

Active disturbance rejection control for the stabilization of a linear hyperbolic system

International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, 2023
This paper deals with the stabilization of a linear hyperbolic system subject to a boundary disturbance. Our feedback design relies on the strategy called active disturbance rejection control (ADRC). The unknown disturbance is estimated by an extended state observer.

Linear Active Disturbance Rejection Control for Course Keeping in Harbor

Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Electronics, Communications and Control Engineering, 2020
Due to the low speed and shallow water effect of the ship when sailing in harbor, the parameters of the ship model are changed, and the traditional PID autopilot cannot effectively control the ship's course. In this paper, the effects of changes in water depth and ship speed on the ship are transformed into changes in ship model parameters, and ship ...

On the linear active disturbance rejection control of the Furuta pendulum

2014 American Control Conference, 2014
This article studies, an Active Disturbance Rejection Control scheme, using a Generalized PI disturbance observer based control applied to the stabilization problem of the Furuta pendulum. The control scheme assumes a limited knowledge of the system and uses a simplified model of the Furuta pendulum modeled as a disturbed chain of two integrators.

Adaptive-based linear active disturbance rejection attitude control for quadrotor with external disturbances

Transactions of the Institute of Measurement and Control, 2021
This paper proposes a linear active disturbance rejection control (LADRC) scheme for a quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with external disturbances based on adaptive control to address the attitude control problem. Firstly, the dynamic model of the quadrotor is established, and LADRC is used to control the altitude, yaw angle, pitch angle and ...
