Design of robust current tracking control for active power filters [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
The paper describes a design methodology for robust current-tracking control of active power filters using quantitative feedback theory (QFT). The design aim is to address system issues of power quality and power factor correction in a double-sided ...

Bioinspired Polypeptide Dendrimer‐Modified Thin‐Film Composite Membranes for Selective Lithium‐Magnesium Separation with DFT Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We fabricated a biomimetic dendrimer‐modified thin‐film nanocomposite membrane with a coordination‐assisted ion‐selective interface. pH‐responsive polypeptide sites preferentially bind Mg2+ and promote Li+ permeation, as predicted by density functional theory calculations of metal‐ligand interactions.

Breathable Graphene Oxide‐Polymer Composite Membranes With Two‐Step Barrier Mechanism Against Nerve Agents

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Breathable membranes that reject chemical warfare agents (CWAs) are required for next‐generation protective apparel. A dual‐function graphene oxide (GO)‐polyamine architecture is introduced that addresses the long‐standing tradeoff between vapor transmission and CWA selectivity.

Comparison of linear and nonlinear active disturbance rejection control method for hypersonic vehicle [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Near space hypersonic vehicles have features of strong coupling, nonlinearity and acute changes in aerodynamic parameters, which are challenging for the controller design. Active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) method does not depend on the accurate

Comparison of different repetitive control architectures: synthesis and comparison. Application to VSI Converters [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Repetitive control is one of the most used control approaches to deal with periodic references/disturbances. It owes its properties to the inclusion of an internal model in the controller that corresponds to a periodic signal generator.

Bio‐Inspired Multimodal Hardware Front‐End Enabled by 2D Floating‐Gate Memory for UAV Perception

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A MoS2/h‐BN /graphene floating‐gate memory underpins a bio‐inspired multimodal front end that integrates visual, inertial, and airflow cues. A 4 × 4 FG memory array encodes temporal intensity differences, while IMU‐ and airflow‐driven threshold modulation suppresses self‐motion artifacts, enabling fast, low‐power, robust autonomous UAV tracking and ...

Hierarchical Cellulose/MXene Aerogel Films with Coral‐Like Polyaniline Skin for Absorption‐Led Broadband EMI Shielding

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A regenerated cellulose/MXene aerogel film is engineered with a surface‐confined, coral‐like polyaniline skin to intensify interfacial polarization while a porous, percolated conductive core is retained. By molten salt hydrate processing and interfacially confined oxidative polymerization, PANI growth is localized at the outer surface and internal ...

Deep Reinforcement Learning Based Active Disturbance Rejection Control for ROV Position and Attitude Control

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) face challenges in achieving optimal trajectory tracking performance during underwater movement due to external disturbances and parameter uncertainties. To address this issue, this paper proposes a position and attitude

Drum Water Level Control Based on Improved ADRC

open access: yesAlgorithms, 2019
Drum water level systems show strong disturbance, big inertia, large time delay, and non-linearity characteristics. In order to improve the antidisturbance performance and robustness of the traditional active disturbance rejection controller (ADRC), an ...
