Control and Synchronization of Fractional-Order Financial System Based on Linear Control

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2011
Control and synchronization of the financial systems with fractional-order are discussed in this paper. Based on the stability theory of fractional-order differential equations, Routh-Hurwitz stability condition, and by using linear control, simpler ...

An approach to iterative learning control for spatio-temporal dynamics using nD discrete linear systems models

open access: yes, 2011
Iterative Learning Control (ILC) is now well established in terms of both the underlying theory and experimental application. This approach is specifically targeted at cases where the same operation is repeated over a finite duration with resetting ...

Optimal control of non-stationary differential linear repetitive processes

open access: yes, 2008
Differential repetitive processes are a distinct class of continuous discrete 2D linear systems of both systems theoretic and applications interest. The feature which makes them distinct from other classes of such systems is the fact that information ...

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Finite-Time Stability and Stabilization of Networked Control Systems with Bounded Markovian Packet Dropout

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2014
The finite-time stability and stabilization problems of a class of networked control systems (NCSs) with bounded Markovian packet dropout are investigated.

On controllability and control laws for discrete linear repetitive processes

open access: yes, 2010
Repetitive processes are a distinct class of 2D systems (i.e. information propagation in two independent directions) of both systems theoretic and applications interest. They cannot be controlled by the direct extension of existing techniques from either

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

What can systems and control theory do for agricultural science?

open access: yes, 2008
: While many professionals with a background in agricultural and bio-resource sciences work with models, only few have been exposed to systems and control theory.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.
