Open Research Data in Spanish University Repositories [PDF]
Revista Espanola de Documentacion Cientifica - Vol. 47 N. 3 (2024)The current situation of open research data in Spanish university repositories is analyzed by means of twelve indicators that allow us to compare them with each other. The twelve self-developed indicators deal with research datasets and institutional policies linked to open access, as well as some of the key characteristics of the repositories.

The Saccharomyces cerevisiae amino acid transporter Lyp1 has a broad substrate spectrum
FEBS Letters, EarlyView.In Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Yeast Amino acid Transporter family members mediate the import of amino acids, ranging from substrate specialists to generalists. Here, we show that the specialist transporter, Lyp1, has a broader substrate spectrum than previously described, with affinity constants spanning from micromolar to millimolar.

miRNA‐29 regulates epidermal and mesenchymal functions in skin repair
FEBS Letters, EarlyView.miRNA‐29 inhibits cell‐to‐cell and cell‐to‐matrix adhesion by silencing mRNA targets. Adhesion is controlled by complex interactions between many types of molecules coded by mRNAs.
