Immobilization of Isolated Lipase From Moldy Copra (Aspergillus Oryzae)

open access: yesE-Journal of Chemistry, 2011
Enzyme immobilization is a recovery technique that has been studied in several years, using support as a media to help enzyme dissolutions to the reaction substrate.

Targeted Therapies in Myelofibrosis: Present Landscape, Ongoing Studies, and Future Perspectives

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Hematology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Myelofibrosis (MF) is a myeloproliferative neoplasm that is accompanied by driver JAK2, CALR, or MPL mutations in more than 90% of cases, leading to constitutive activation of the JAK–STAT pathway. MF is a multifaceted disease characterized by trilineage myeloid proliferation with prominent megakaryocyte atypia and bone marrow fibrosis, as ...

Body mass index and hepatic lipase gene (LIPC) polymorphism jointly influence postheparin plasma hepatic lipase activity

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1998
The -514 polymorphism in the hepatic lipase gene (LIPC) is associated with decreased hepatic lipase activity. In the present study, the interaction between body mass index (BMI), the -514 polymorphism, and hepatic lipase activity was examined in 118 ...

Emulsifying triglycerides with dairy phospholipids instead of soy lecithin modulates gut lipase activity

open access: yes, 2015
A high energy supply and appropriate amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids is crucial for proper growth and development in neonates. The capacity for fatty acid absorption in newborns is however hampered due to an undeveloped pancreatic function combined

Lipase activity in the human aorta

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1970
The hydrolysis of triglycerides by grossly normal male human aortas has been studied in vitro. The tissue contains an acid lipase (pH optimum, 5.4) and an alkaline lipase (pH optimum, 8.8). Both lipases catalyze the hydrolysis of saturated triglycerides;

HIDROLISIS ENZIMATIS STEARIN SAWIT MENJADI MONOGLISERIDA OLEH LIPASE DARI Rhizomucor miehei DAN PANKREAS (Enzymatic Hydrolysis of Palm Stearin to Produce Monoglyceride by Lipase from Rhizomucor miehei and Pancreatic)

open access: yesAgritech, 2013
The objectives of the research were to evaluate the effect of the pH, ratio of substrate:phospate buffer, and reaction time on the enzymatic hydrolysis of palm stearin to obtain monoglyceride by R. miehei and pancreatic lipases.

Human milk lipases. I. Serum-stimulated lipase

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1974
Lipase activity has previously been demonstrated in human milk. This study shows that there are two separate triglyceride lipases in human milk. One is mainly in the skim milk and is stimulated by bile salts; the other is mainly in the cream and is inhibited by bile salts but stimulated by serum.

Lipoprotein lipase and hepatic lipase

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 2003
HDL subspecies Lp(A-I) and Lp(A-I,A-II) have different anti-atherogenic potentials. To determine the role of lipoprotein lipase (LPL) and hepatic lipase (HL) in regulating these particles, we measured these enzyme activities in 28 healthy subjects with ...

Digestion in vitro of erythritol esters by rat pancreatic juice enzymes

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1972
The mechanism of the digestion of erythritol esters was determined using rat pancreatic juice and purified pancreatic lipase (EC 3.1.1.3). Conditions of hydrolysis were used that would selectively activate or inactivate nonspecific lipase or lipase.

A companion to the preclinical common data elements for proteomics, lipidomics, and metabolomics data in rodent epilepsy models. A report of the TASK3‐WG4 omics working group of the ILAE/AES joint translational TASK force

open access: yesEpilepsia Open, EarlyView., 2022
Abstract The International League Against Epilepsy/American Epilepsy Society (ILAE/AES) Joint Translational Task Force established the TASK3 working groups to create common data elements (CDEs) for various preclinical epilepsy research disciplines.
