ABSTRACT This study explored fasting‐induced physiological remodeling effects on meat quality in aged laying hens. Fasting for 15 days (F15) significantly reduced abdominal fat, intermuscular fat width, subcutaneous fat thickness, and liver index versus pre‐fasting (F0) (p < 0.05), which recovered post‐refeeding.

Harnessing ferroptosis from multilayer defense networks to nanoplatforms for specific cancer therapy
Nanomaterials target metabolically‐regulated ferroptosis for cancer therapy. Iron‐based or alternative nanoplatforms integrate ferroptosis with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or radiotherapy. They enable stimulus‐responsive therapies (photothermal, photodynamic, sonodynamic) activated by near‐infrared, light, or ultrasound, achieving potent synergistic ...

On Mass Ambiguities in Shotgun Lipidomics
Mass-spectrometry based lipidomics aims to identify as many lipid species as possible from complex biological samples. Due to the large combinatorial search-space unambiguous identification of lipid species is far from trivial.
