This study has identified lncRNA‐MEG3 as a key regulator of muscle mass, promoting slow‐twitch muscle fibers and preventing muscle atrophy. By stabilizing the SUZ12/PRC2 complex through liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS), lncRNA‐MEG3 influences mitochondrial function and lipid metabolism.

A therapeutic strategy is proposed for periodontitis using extracellular vesicles derived from EPO‐stimulated macrophages (EPO‐EVs). This schema demonstrates how EPO‐EVs enhance the osteogenic activity of mBMSCs in an inflammatory environment by inhibiting EGFR.

Wang et al. discover a novel lncRNA regulator of mutant oncoprotein which prevents AKT1E17K dephosphorylation. SVIL‐AS1 overexpression correlates with poor prognosis of breast cancer patients. It interacts with AKT1E17K protein and impedes PP2A holoenzyme from dephosphorylating AKT1 by blocking the binding of the regulatory subunit PPP2R2A to AKT1 ...

HDAC6 and USP9X Control Glutamine Metabolism by Stabilizing GS to Promote Glioblastoma Tumorigenesis
Glioblastoma (GBM) growth relies on glutamine synthetase (GS), which is stabilized by histone deacetylase 6 (HDAC6) and deubiquitinated by ubiquitin‐specific peptidase 9, X‐linked (USP9X). HDAC6 promotes GS deacetylation, while USP9X removes its K48‐linked polyubiquitination, enhancing GS stability.

Abstract Liver cancer stem cells (CSCs) account for tumor initiation, heterogeneity and therapy resistance. However, the role of small nucleolar RNAs (snoRNAs) in the regulation of liver CSCs remains largely unclear. Here, this work identifies a conserved H/ACA box snoRNA SNORA74A which is highly expressed in liver CSCs.
