Engineered extracellular vesicles enriched with the miR‐214/199a cluster enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy in ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Some Comments Concerning the Preparation of and Fatigue Testing of the Aircraft’s Cable-Control System

open access: yesFatigue of Aircraft Structures
The currently accepted rules that are applied to the aircraft cable-control systems’ operational use are based on the reactive maintenance idea and the comparative tests, inspections, and diagnostics performed at the mandatory intervals. Fatigue tests of

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

The Load Cycle Amplitude Model: An Efficient Time-Domain Extrapolation Technique for Non-Stationary Loads in Agricultural Machinery

open access: yesAgriculture
In traditional time-domain extrapolation methods, the peak over threshold (POT) model is unable to accurately identify large load cycles in the load time history, resulting in distorted extrapolation results, particularly when addressing non-stationary ...

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Establishment and Analysis of Load Spectrum for Bogie Frame of High-Speed Train at 400 km/h Speed Level

open access: yesMachines
The bogie frame, as one of the most critical load-bearing structures of the Electric Multiple Unit (EMU), is responsible for bearing and transmitting various loads from the car body, wheelsets, and its own installation components.

Research on the vibration test load spectrum for bogie frame-mounted tractor motor based on on-track tests

open access: yes机车电传动, 2023
Ignoring the effects of high-frequency signals and small-amplitude cycles that contribute little to structural fatigue damage, rainflow counting was performed on the vibration load of traction motors to generate a three-dimensional load spectrum.

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.
