Solving Undamped and Damped Fractional Oscillators via Integral Rohit Transform

open access: yesAl-Mustansiriyah Journal of Science
Background: The dynamics of fractional oscillators are generally described by fractional differential equations, which include the fractional derivative of the Caputo or Riemann-Liouville type.

Some Generalized Inequalities Involving Local Fractional Integrals and their Applications for Random Variables and Numerical Integration [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, Statistics and Informatics, 2016
AbstractWe establish generalized pre-Grüss inequality for local fractional integrals. Then, we obtain some inequalities involving generalized expectation,p−moment, variance and cumulative distribution function of random variable whose probability density function is bounded.

Epigenetic silencing of the liver‐specific lncRNA LUNAR promotes liver cancer progression via NOTCH activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
LUNAR is a liver‐specific long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) that is highly expressed in normal liver but becomes epigenetically silenced in hepatocellular carcinoma through promoter hypermethylation. Loss of LUNAR is associated with NOTCH activation, epithelial–mesenchymal transition, and metastasis, whereas restoring LUNAR restrains metastatic progression ...

A Caputo-Type Fractional Derivative of a Function with Respect to Power Functions and Solutions to Non-Local Problems of Fractional Differential Equations

open access: yesMathematics
This paper investigates the uniform continuity and strong continuity of the semigroups of the fractional integral operators of power functions. Using the Krasnoselskii’s fixed-point theorem, we have studied the non-local problem related to fractional ...

Stein-Weiss inequality for local mixed radial-angular Morrey spaces

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2022
In this article, a generalization of the well-known Stein-Weiss inequality for the fractional integral operator on functions with different integrability properties in the radial and the angular direction in local Morrey spaces is established.

Rough Fractional Integral Operators on Local Morrey Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2019
We prove the boundedness of rough fractional integral operator on local Morrey spaces for radial functions. We consider three ways of estimation of the operator to obtain our result.

Single‐cell DNA methylation profiling: Technologies, computation, and applications in precision oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell DNA methylation (scDNAme) profiling maps epimutational clonal evolution, revealing mechanisms of malignancy and therapeutic resistance across diverse cancer types. By providing a high‐resolution landscape of intratumoral heterogeneity, these technologies empower precise patient stratification, guide the development of enhanced ...

Exact solutions of fractional mBBM equation and coupled system of fractional Boussinesq-Burgers

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2018
The new exact solutions of nonlinear fractional partial differential equations (FPDEs) are established by adopting first integral method (FIM). The Riemann-Liouville (R-L) derivative and the local conformable derivative definitions are used to deal with ...

CEACAM1 participation in breast cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In invasive breast cancer (BC), CEACAM1 shifts from an apical to a uniform membranous/cytoplasmic pattern, or is lost, as tumors dedifferentiate, inversely tracking the Ki‐67 proliferative index. In MCF‐7 cells, only CEACAM1‐4L suppresses proliferation, repressing cell cycle and growth factor genes.

Cancer cell‐intrinsic type 1 interferon: production, signaling, and outcomes within sex‐biased, female malignancies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The cell‐autonomous roles of interferon type 1 vary based on duration and intensity. While acute, robust signaling results in cancer cell cytotoxic effects, sustained, low‐level signaling is associated with tumor‐promoting effects. This review summarizes current research of IFN‐1 in cancer and within the clinical setting, with an emphasis on female ...
