A looped-functional approach for robust stability analysis of linear impulsive systems [PDF]
A new functional-based approach is developed for the stability analysis of linear impulsive systems. The new method, which introduces looped-functionals, considers non-monotonic Lyapunov functions and leads to LMIs conditions devoid of exponential terms. This allows one to easily formulate dwell-times results, for both certain and uncertain systems. It

Stability Analysis of Systems With Periodic Delay Using a Generalized Looped Functional
This paper examines the stability of linear time-varying delay systems, assuming that the delay varies periodically within a certain range. By dividing the delay function into monotonically increasing and decreasing intervals and introducing generalized ...

This paper concentrates on analyzing the stability problems of aperiodic sampled-data systems with time delay. Based on Lyapunov theory, a new time-square-dependent two-side looped-functional (TTLF) is proposed, which can take full advantage of the ...

This paper aims to propose an improved method capable of designing a sampled-data control for linear systems. To this end, a refined two-sided looped functional method is proposed such that the chosen Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional can contain more input-

Renormalization of loop functions in QCD [PDF]
We give a short overview of the renormalization properties of rectangular Wilson loops, the Polyakov loop correlator and the cyclic Wilson loop. We then discuss how to renormalize loops with more than one intersection, using the simplest non-trivial case as an illustrative example. Our findings expand on previous treatments.

This paper investigates the stability analysis of sampled-data control systems with nonuniform sampling and communication delays. First, by taking full advantage of effective information of the sampling intervals [tk, tk+1) and [tk-τ, tk+1-τ

Closed-loop functional optogenetic stimulation [PDF]
AbstractOptogenetics has been used to orchestrate temporal- and tissue-specific control of neural tissues and offers a wealth of unique advantages for neuromuscular control. Here, we establish a closed-loop functional optogenetic stimulation (CL-FOS) system to control ankle joint position in murine models. Using the measurement of either joint angle or

Novel Equalities for Stability Analysis of Asynchronous Sampled-Data Systems
This paper is concerned with the stability analysis problems of asynchronous sampled-data systems with use of a input-delay approach, where a sampled-data system can be reformulated into a time-delay system having incremental delays.

Improved Discontinuous Lyapunov Functionals for Stability Analysis of Sampled-Data Systems
This paper is devoted to proposing improved discontinuous Lyapunov functionals for the stability analysis of sampled-data systems. Specifically, by relaxing the existing looped-functional, this paper makes the first attempt to integrate 1/t-tk ∫ ...
